Painting en plein air in St.Ives
I’m a multidisciplinary artist working with watercolours, inks, acrylics, oils, collage, pastel, and seaside-foraged creations.
Moving between abstraction and realism, my work focuses on the organic textures and architectural shapes found in the natural landscape.
When you are born near the sea, it has a tendency to draw you back.
The sea deeply influences me. I’m happiest foraging shorelines and observing seascapes to inspire my process. This brings a great sense of joy and calm which I hope to convey in my pieces.
Through paintings, seaweed pressings and sea foraged creations, I explore a constant pull back to nature.
