Artist’s Bio
Hello, I’m Faith Evans, a self-taught, multidisciplinary artist working with watercolours, inks, acrylics, oils, collage, pastel, and seaside-foraged creations.
Moving between abstraction and realism, my work focuses on the organic textures and architectural shapes found in the natural landscape.
Having grown up near the coast, the sea deeply influences my practice. I’m happiest when foraging shorelines and observing seascapes to inspire my process. This bring me a great sense of joy and calm which I hope to convey in my pieces.
When you are born near the sea, it calls you back.
Through paintings, seaweed pressings and sea foraged creations, I explore this constant pull back to nature to capture its rhythm and its timeless, healing presence.
